Our Story

Hello, my name is Naz and I’m the Founder of LOPALU.

The story behind LOPALU starts on an early October morning when my baby daughter was born. It was the happiest day of my life and one that truly put the world into perspective for me for the first time.
Before I became a mother to this tiny beauty, my main accomplishments were work-driven. I've obtained a business degree, had a successful career in corporate, and was well on my way to advancement.
While becoming a mother was the most extraordinary experience of all, I never thought it would transform my entire life in such an unpredictable way. Like many new mothers, I struggled with the concept of being a "good" mother. Between the lack of sleep, raging hormones, and self-doubt, I saw myself in a battle between my old life and the new, with the looming fear of going back to work and not being able to balance it all.
Now after 6 years, although I walked through many life's challenges including a miscarriage and cancer treatment; having my daughter by my side has given me strength to push through the difficult times and become the person I was always meant to be in this world.
Going back to my early mommy moments, I think about the new moms today and how important it is to feel like the best versions of themselves, no matter their circumstances. This idea propelled me to leave my corporate career behind and start my own company, LOPALU, with the mission to help women gain confidence in their journey into motherhood with offering premium products that are functional, stylish and remind them of the great job they're doing with their babies.
If you ask me, nothing makes you feel more prepared for the day than a diaper bag that can hold everything you need to tackle what comes ahead. When I started LOPALU, I knew that our diaper bag collections would be something that ignites joy for moms while still offering a sense of luxury.
My hope is that LOPALU can represent women everywhere who want to regain that sense of self, but with a mommy spin. For new moms, working moms, and moms to multiples, I want to create an inclusive community where everyone is supported in their journey of raising little humans.
With love, Naz
